Senior DevOps Engineer (SaaS)

Location: Remote from anywhere, with onsite options in Belgrade or London

What you will do

• Own the Proxmox and Ceph platform, including capacity, upgrades, performance, and incident response.
• Operate infrastructure across OVH, Hetzner, bare metal, AWS, and GCP.
• Drive resource rightsizing, identify overpayment, and validate infrastructure savings.
• Lead the separation of development workloads into a dedicated cluster without production downtime.
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD, and GitLab CI.
• Own reliability practices, including on-call, incident response, root cause analysis, runbooks, and support for PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Aerospike.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience working with infrastructure and physical hardware.
• 5+ years of running Kubernetes and cloud platforms in production.
• Hands-on experience with bare metal, OVH, Hetzner, AWS, and/or GCP.
• Strong Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD, and GitLab CI experience, with infrastructure defined as code by default.
• Practical FinOps experience, including measuring infrastructure costs before and after optimization.
• Ability to take problems from initial investigation through root-cause analysis and implementation of the fix.

Nice to have

• Production experience with Proxmox and Ceph.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, or Aerospike at scale.
• Experience splitting shared environments into isolated clusters.
• Experience building observability and on-call practices from scratch.
• Background in high-load B2B SaaS.
