QA Engineering Manager (Unreal Engine)

Location: Office-first in full capacity from the Warsaw headquarters, Poland. Flexible start between 8 and 10 AM CET.

Salary: 29,900–41,030 PLN gross monthly. The role may also include a long-term incentive program with an option to purchase company stock after the vesting period.

What you will do

• Build and lead the QA Engineering team, initially supporting The Witcher 4 and later providing reusable solutions for Cyberpunk 2, Sirius and future titles.
• Define and evolve the QA Engineering strategy and develop studio-wide capabilities.
• Oversee automation frameworks, tools and diagnostics for functional testing, build validation, stability checks and performance checks.
• Work with Engineering, DevOps and Production to integrate testing frameworks and tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish QA Engineering metrics, manage risks and dependencies, and drive improvements in testability, observability and development efficiency.
• Mentor QA Engineers, support career development, plan resources and communicate roadmaps and delivery status to technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the games or software industry in an engineering leadership or management role, ideally on large-scale or AAA projects.
• Strong engineering background with the ability to understand and review code, technical designs and architecture decisions.
• Experience developing or overseeing automated test frameworks, including experience with Unreal Engine tools, frameworks and processes.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, build farms, automated deployments and test integration.
• Experience writing automation or process-improvement tools with Python, TypeScript or C#.
• Proven leadership, mentoring, analytical, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in AAA game development or other complex real-time systems.
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud technologies such as Docker, AWS or GCP.
• Appreciation for CD Projekt RED games and worlds.
