Level Designer (Unreal)

What you will do

• Develop level layouts and own the gameplay experience of assigned levels according to the creative director’s vision.
• Build, script, tune, and maintain levels to final quality using 3D level design tools.
• Place and trigger entities, create gameplay events, and develop level topology and event continuity.
• Collaborate with level artists and other disciplines to align gameplay, visual elements, and level spaces.
• Contribute to prototyping, scenario creation, game balancing, pacing, accessibility, and difficulty tuning.
• Playtest levels, consolidate feedback, identify actionable improvements, and maintain the game experience beat chart with other designers.

Requirements

• Experience in level design and mastery of 3D level design tools.
• Solid knowledge of game editors such as Unreal Engine 4/5.
• Strong creative skills and attention to creative and technical quality.
• Understanding of gameplay density, spaces, and integration of level art with gameplay.
• Excellent organization and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Strong knowledge of the video game industry and the ability to evaluate gameplay from the player’s perspective.
