develops a healthcare technology product integrating with Electronic Health Record systems and supporting AI-powered eligibility, benefits, and cost-estimate workflows.
What you will do
- Develop secure, well-tested, and performant features for the product.
- Integrate the platform with Electronic Health Record systems and lead integration efforts for AI Eligibility and Benefits, AI Cost Estimates, and Pre-visit Intake Automation.
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines, complex data schemas, and scalable PostgreSQL queries.
- Deploy and operate scalable services using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and EKS, including traffic routing and autoscaling.
- Collaborate with founders, frontend, UX, customers, and other core team members to deliver product improvements.
- Review code, mentor peers, research technical solutions, and address technical debt and architectural challenges.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Software Engineering or a similar field, plus 6 years of experience as a Web Developer or Python Developer.
- Strong knowledge of Python internals, memory management, performance optimization, PostgreSQL internals, autovacuum, and transaction isolation levels.
- Experience optimizing PostgreSQL queries using CTEs, window functions, complex data types, and advanced database features.
- Experience with Docker, multi-stage and cross-platform images, Kubernetes, AWS/EKS, autoscaling, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience with SQLAlchemy, polymorphic relationships, N+1 prevention, FastAPI, Flask, RESTful services, validation, asynchronous endpoints, and middleware.
- Experience with Celery Canvas, ETL workflow monitoring, Python asyncio, modern JavaScript applications, C#, and .NET Framework.
