Principal Developer Experience & Platform Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Define the long-term technical strategy and roadmap for Developer Experience, build systems, CI/CD, deployment platforms, internal tooling, and agentic workflows.
• Design and maintain internal developer platforms, SDKs, CLIs, service templates, APIs, and standardized engineering paths.
• Improve build and test performance across large codebases and monorepos, reduce flaky tests, and make deployment orchestration fast, safe, and reversible.
• Build agent-safe interfaces for LLM-driven workflows, AI coding agents, and human-in-the-loop automation.
• Evolve hybrid cloud, bare-metal, Kubernetes, and Elasticsearch infrastructure while driving SLOs, observability, resilience, and enterprise-grade security.
• Own technical documentation and engineering standards, provide architectural guidance, and mentor senior engineers.

Requirements

• 15+ years of systems and platform engineering experience.
• Experience architecting and owning large-scale distributed systems, cloud-native infrastructure, and developer-facing platforms.
• Hands-on proficiency in Go, TypeScript, or Python, with expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, and Terraform.
• Experience building internal platforms, CLIs, SDKs, build engines, or test frameworks with strong attention to API usability and developer adoption.
• Exceptional technical writing skills, including documentation, RFCs, technical narratives, and architectural diagrams.
• Proven ability to influence technical strategy, align teams, drive consensus, and mentor senior technical talent.
