User Equipment (UE) Verification Engineer (GNSS)

hirify.global develops Pulsar, a low-Earth-orbit PNT satellite infrastructure designed to provide centimeter-level positioning accuracy, improved power efficiency, and resilient global positioning.

What you will do

• Develop and execute test plans, protocols, and certification procedures for Pulsar-capable GNSS receivers.
• Create test cases and scenarios covering receiver performance across operating conditions and market requirements.
• Convert test requirements into automated, repeatable workflows using scripting and testing tools.
• Design functional and robustness tests for positioning, timing, interference, resilience, and environmental impacts.
• Analyze test data, produce verification reports, and assess receiver metrics against specifications.
• Standardize data capture, storage, traceability, reporting, and QA/QC workflows while supporting field validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in geomatics, electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience testing and verifying hardware and firmware, preferably GNSS-related.
• Experience with GNSS receivers, RF hardware testing, timing systems, or related space systems.
• Strong testing methodology and systems engineering experience, including requirements, traceability, verification, and validation.
• Strong Python scripting and automation skills in Linux and Windows, with practical networking and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with GNSS simulation tools, receiver interfaces, and GNSS formats and protocols such as NMEA, RTCM, RINEX, SP3, or proprietary formats.
• Experience with high-precision timing tests.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and structured software engineering practices.
• GNSS or navigation signal processing knowledge, including GPS, Galileo, or BeiDou.
