Cyber Incident Response Leader

Location: Łódź, Poland; hybrid work with 3 days per week required in the Łódź office

Salary: PLN 225,400–354,200 gross annually

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end response to cybersecurity incidents, including triage, investigation, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident activities.
• Act as incident commander during major security events and coordinate technical and business stakeholders.
• Develop and improve incident response processes, playbooks, escalation procedures, and communication frameworks.
• Analyze incidents to determine root cause, business impact, and corrective actions, then drive remediation.
• Plan tabletop exercises, simulations, readiness assessments, metrics, reporting, and executive dashboards.
• Partner with security, infrastructure, cloud, legal, privacy, HR, threat intelligence, vendors, and external response providers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, incident response, digital forensics, or a related discipline.
• Experience leading complex cybersecurity investigations and enterprise incident response activities.
• Knowledge of threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures, cyber crisis management, and incident response frameworks.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, identity security, cloud security, email security, and network security platforms.
• Strong decision-making, analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• GCIH, GCFA, GCFE, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent cybersecurity certifications.
• Experience with digital forensics, malware analysis, threat hunting, cyber crisis exercises, and executive tabletop simulations.
• Experience in global enterprise environments and knowledge of regulatory, privacy, and breach notification requirements.
