Location: Orastie plant, Romania; onsite work at the plant four days per week is required
Company
operates a large industrial manufacturing plant in Orastie producing Philips coffee machines and irons and employing approximately 1,000 people.
What you will do
- Coordinate employee training and development programs.
- Support performance management, including goal setting and performance reviews.
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and exit interviews.
- Perform HR administration and payroll activities when required.
- Support HR projects, audits, policy updates, and procedure maintenance.
- Assist with trade union negotiations and help ensure compliance with labor legislation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, business administration, human resources, or a related field.
- At least five years of HR generalist or HR specialist experience in manufacturing.
- Solid knowledge of local labor and payroll legislation and hands-on employee lifecycle administration and payroll experience.
- Experience with collective negotiations is strongly appreciated.
- Advanced English and proficient Romanian are required.
- Availability to work from the plant four days per week is mandatory.
