A330 MRTT Pilot Instructor

Location: RAAF Base Amberley near Brisbane, Australia; relocation from the UK or Canada is required and full relocation support is provided.

What you will do

• Support KC-30A pilot qualification courses and currency and proficiency events.
• Deliver mission briefings, debriefings, and hands-on simulator instruction to pilot students.
• Operate a new flight training device as part of an advanced Australian Defence training program.
• Collaborate with simulator maintenance teams to maintain training equipment performance.
• Develop and continuously improve training materials and syllabus content.
• Support technical staff with innovation and the evolution of training delivery.

Requirements

• Experienced ex-military pilot instructor.
• Previous experience flying and instructing on the A330 MRTT, known as the KC-30A in Australia.
• Must be from the UK or Canada to meet security clearance requirements.
• Willingness to relocate to Australia and work at RAAF Base Amberley.
• Passion for training and instruction in a high-performing aviation environment.

Nice to have

• Experience or aspirations suited to a Lead Instructor or broader hirify.global leadership role.
• Eligibility for the ADF Reserve Service Policy.
