Senior Journalist (Disinformation): Leading data-driven investigations and multi-platform journalism on disinformation trends across Africa with an accent on OSINT, forensic techniques, and audience-focused reporting. Location: Abuja, Nigeria. Flexible working can be discussed during the application and offer stages.

What you will do
- Lead monitoring and analysis of disinformation trends across Africa using OSINT, analytics tools, forensic techniques, and investigative journalism.
- Produce and commission audience-focused investigations about disinformation, conspiracy theories, and their real-world effects.
- Coordinate cross- disinformation projects with language services, editorial teams, and specialist units.
- Create accessible multi-platform content for video, audio, text, graphics, live coverage, and on-air reporting.
- Plan coverage of major news events and support teams with accurate reporting, expertise, and resources.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in OSINT, forensic tools, data-driven research, and disinformation reporting.
- Strong digital journalism experience across written, video, live, and pre-recorded formats.
- Ability to translate complex, data-heavy stories into compelling and accessible multi-platform content.
- Experience managing sensitive editorial projects with Legal, Editorial Policy, High Risk, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to grow and engage audiences through social media and deliver accurate work under pressure.
