Senior Data Scientist (Python)

What you will do

• Translate business and production questions into analytical and data science problems, defining success metrics and evaluation criteria.
• Explore structured and unstructured data, identify patterns and anomalies, and assess data quality, completeness, bias, and limitations.
• Transform data for modeling, develop and validate models, and document assumptions, risks, and limitations.
• Build production-grade automation workflows and work with data engineers and the Digital team to operationalize data preparation.
• Interpret analytical findings for non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with operators, production and quality technicians, data scientists, and CAE experts.

Requirements

• 8–11 years of professional experience and a Master’s or PhD in data science, applied mathematics, or statistics.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets in an industrial environment.
• Strong foundations in linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics, plus knowledge of distributed systems, data partitioning, and parallel processing.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Python, SQL, Apache Spark, pandas, and NumPy for data exploration, feature engineering, and analytical workflows.
• Experience with distributed model training using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• English and French are both mandatory.
