Site Reliability Engineer III

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate hirify.global’s edge computing and foundational cloud platform services.
• Monitor production environments, respond to alerts, remediate incidents, and participate in the on-call rotation.
• Develop scalable infrastructure solutions, platform components, microservices, tooling, and self-service interfaces.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code pipelines with Terraform and Helm for provisioning, configuration, and environment orchestration.
• Define platform-level SLOs and SLIs, improve observability, and support capacity planning, performance, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with SREs, application engineers, and QA while providing technical leadership and mentorship.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 3+ years of experience in SRE, Platform Engineering, or DevOps.
• Experience designing, building, and managing distributed, highly available systems and network control planes.
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems, DevOps tools, CI/CD practices, and automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python or Golang, including scalable microservices and tooling development.
• Hands-on experience with DNS, security, virtualization, containers, Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a detail-oriented and ownership-focused approach.
