Automation QA Senior Engineer

Location: Astana, Kazakhstan. Work format: onsite, remote, or hybrid.

What you will do

• Design and execute automated tests for RESTful APIs, web applications, and mobile platforms.
• Build high-quality testing systems using Selenium, Appium, GameBench, TestComplete, and API automation tools.
• Develop and maintain automated testing for mobile platforms using Appium, XCUITest, and Espresso.
• Support CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and similar tools.
• Apply testing strategies for microservices architectures and cloud environments.
• Manage test activities, track defects, and collaborate across projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT experience.
• Experience with Selenium, Appium, GameBench, TestComplete, and API automation.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C#, or similar.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud services such as AWS and Google Cloud, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with test management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
• Fluent English, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a proactive approach to ownership.

Nice to have

• Software testing or automation certifications.
• Experience in cross-team, multi-project environments.
• Experience with New Relic, Prometheus, or the ELK stack.
