Focus on troubleshooting mechanical and electrical HVAC components, managing shutdowns and installations, and ensuring reliable operation in hazardous oil and gas environments.

Location: Majnoon Oil Field, Basra, Iraq; onsite rotation 28/28

What you will do

  • Supervise HVAC technicians and coordinate daily maintenance and field activities.
  • Execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for chillers, package units, split units, ventilation systems, and industrial cooling equipment.
  • Troubleshoot HVAC mechanical and electrical components, perform diagnostics, and conduct root-cause analysis.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Projects teams during upgrades, shutdowns, installations, and project work.
  • Monitor contractors, review work permits and method statements, and maintain maintenance, inspection, equipment-history, and spare-parts records.
  • Support design reviews, technical evaluations, incident investigations, and technician training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC Technology.
  • Minimum 8 years of HVAC experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC mechanical systems, refrigeration cycles, ducting, ventilation, and industrial cooling.
  • Experience supervising multidisciplinary maintenance teams and working in hazardous environments.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
  • Iraqi nationals are preferred.
