Android Developer (Kotlin) in Kazakhstan

Location: Almaty, Kazakhstan; hybrid format with office attendance

What you will do

• Develop and enhance Android products for a next-generation banking platform and new mobile application.
• Optimize application performance and integrate external APIs.
• Test, document, and review code while following documented development processes.
• Participate in architectural decisions, task decomposition, estimation, and planning.
• Collaborate with the team, mentor colleagues, and take ownership of technical tasks.
• Continuously learn new technologies and contribute to team activities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of mobile development experience.
• Experience in fintech.
• Strong Kotlin skills, including advanced language features.
• Experience with Clean Architecture, MVI, Redux/TEA, Coroutines, Flow, design patterns, and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD or similar automation tools, mobile performance optimization, and Agile/Scrum development.
• English: Intermediate+ or higher.
