Senior Product Engineer (TypeScript)

What you will do

• Own features end-to-end, from domain design and backend services to frontend delivery and observability.
• Build resilient, high-volume software for benefits, payments, employee experiences, and HR administration.
• Evolve distributed systems into scalable, event-driven architectures with strong consistency and fault tolerance.
• Develop automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, including load and performance simulations.
• Monitor production services, identify bottlenecks, and resolve reliability issues using observability tools.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and engineering documentation while using AI assistants to improve delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production-grade applications across the full stack or with strong cross-layer capability.
• Professional experience with backend and frontend development, preferably in the TypeScript ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of race conditions, eventual consistency, idempotency, message brokers, and high-concurrency troubleshooting.
• Extensive experience with automated testing and a shift-left security mindset.
• Fluent Spanish and English are required.
• Willingness to use AI tools for problem-solving, code generation, and workflow optimization.

Nice to have

• Experience with banking systems, payment gateways such as Stripe or Adyen, ledger systems, or reconciliation processes.
• Experience with TypeScript-based production systems.
