Chiller Technician - Journeyman (HVAC)

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii, United States. Field-based role requiring on-site work at customer locations, with overtime, weekend work, and occasional overnight stays.

What you will do

• Commission, start up, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
• Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, customers, and other partners on installations, repairs, facility setups, and retrofits.
• Use diagnostic software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to service units.
• Act as the direct customer contact and maintain customer satisfaction throughout assigned projects.
• Maintain safety standards and document the use, condition, and accountability of company assets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 5+ years of HVAC experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months with an acceptable driving record and no major or frequent violations in the previous three years.
