Strategic Sourcing Manager

Location: Remote within the United States; employees may live in any of the 50 states, with limited exceptions.

Salary: $86,300–$137,900 or $90,900–$145,100 annually, depending on location.

What you will do

• Develop and execute complex sourcing strategies for high-impact categories and professional services.
• Lead contract negotiations, RFx events, supplier selection, contracting, and supplier relationship management for sourcing events with $15M+ in annual contract value.
• Build supplier agreements, identify cost savings and optimization opportunities, and manage enterprise risk.
• Coordinate negotiation planning, status reporting, risk escalation, and procurement deal-roadmap reviews.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Technology, Procurement, Operations, and business leadership to align sourcing strategies with company objectives and budgets.
• Present sourcing strategies, metrics, findings, and recommendations to senior and executive leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in strategic sourcing or procurement.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience with sophisticated source-selection processes, including RFPs, RFQs, and auctions.
• Experience with sourcing and contract management software.
• Strong process management, organization, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Ability to analyze total cost of ownership, identify root causes, manage multiple priorities, and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Must be able to work remotely from the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience leading indirect sourcing for People/HR organizations and enterprise People/HR technology, including HCM, ATS, LMS, payroll, and benefits platforms.
• Experience advising senior People/HR and Technology leaders on supplier strategy, operating models, and cost optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in data analysis, supply chain management, accounting, engineering, or business administration.
• Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, PMP, CSP, CPSM, CPM, ITIL, APICS, or PMI credentials.
• Experience with ZIP, Workday Strategic Management, Tableau, Excel, AI, and advanced analytics.
