Fraud Policy & Escalation Specialist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Monitor challenging transactions for financial fraud prevention and detection.
• Handle fraud escalations according to organizational procedures and agreed service-level agreements.
• Research escalations and analyze data to prevent financial losses.
• Monitor fraud and chargeback ratios and take action in line with company policies.
• Manage queues, maintain SLA compliance, and guide operational teams on complex fraud prevention cases.
• Deliver training and build organizational awareness of risk management and fraud prevention.

Requirements

• At least four years of relevant professional experience or educational qualifications in finance, accounting, risk management, business administration, business economics, or financial-sector fraud management.
• Knowledge of payment facilitators, acquiring and issuing banking, and card schemes.
• Experience with queue management tools and familiarity with issuing fraud trends and escalation procedures.
• Strong data analysis, attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
