Senior Rust Backend Engineer (Crypto)

What you will do

• Design and implement robust Rust services and foundational libraries for core infrastructure.
• Write reusable, testable, efficient code designed for scale, observability, and production resilience.
• Contribute to distributed systems architecture for low-latency and fault-tolerant services.
• Build shared systems and internal platforms that support multiple product roadmaps.
• Collaborate with product teams to gather requirements and design appropriate systems.
• Take end-to-end ownership of systems and libraries while contributing to a large Rust engineering organization.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Professional experience writing network services or asynchronous code in Rust.
• Experience building and scaling shared systems, internal platforms, and distributed services.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, RPC protocols, Kafka, and event-driven systems.
• Security-first approach to system design and the ability to debug across the operating system, network, and application stack.
• Ability to work autonomously and own systems from design through operation.
