Staff Technical Sourcing Manager (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Livingston, NJ; New York, NY; Sunnyvale, CA; or Bellevue, WA

Salary: $177,000–$237,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own sourcing strategies and multi-generation roadmaps for hardware, systems, and infrastructure categories used in data center deployments.
• Lead supplier selection, RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes, including technical and commercial proposal evaluation and award decisions.
• Negotiate pricing, capacity, quality, delivery, warranty, liability, intellectual property, and long-term supply commitments.
• Draft and administer master supply agreements, long-term agreements, statements of work, and amendments with Legal.
• Build should-cost models and total cost of ownership analyses while partnering with Finance on budgets, forecasts, and savings.
• Develop supply resilience through dual sourcing, supplier diversification, capacity reservations, supplier scorecards, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technical sourcing, commodity or category management, or supply chain management within data center, hyperscaler, cloud, AI systems, or related high-technology hardware industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, a related technical field, Supply Chain, or Business Administration; equivalent high-tech commodity management experience may be considered.
• Demonstrated success developing and executing sourcing strategies against measurable cost, quality, and supply objectives.
• Exceptional negotiation, influencing, consensus-building, analytical, and supplier relationship management skills.
• Technical depth to engage with engineering teams on requirements, trade-offs, and supplier proposals.
• Access to export-controlled information requires eligibility under applicable U.S. export-control regulations.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a technical, engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration field.
• Hyperscale sourcing experience with multi-tier supply bases and sub-tier capacity allocation.
• Experience with contract manufacturers, original design manufacturers, and OEMs across global manufacturing footprints.
• Knowledge of data center compute, networking, storage, power, and thermal systems.
• Experience with constrained capacity, trade compliance, tariffs, cross-border logistics, and contract lifecycle management systems.
