Staff Cloud Engineer (OpenShift/AWS): Managing and securing hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructure for behavioral health software with an accent on OpenShift, AWS, Linux administration, and enterprise application support. Focus on deploying and monitoring releases, maintaining runbooks and configurations, evaluating patches and technologies, and proactively improving system reliability and security.
Location: Lima, Peru; office attendance required twice per week

What you will do
- Manage, install, configure, and maintain application software across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Deploy and release updated software versions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain application configurations and comprehensive runbook documentation.
- Evaluate and install patches while ensuring compliance with change-control policies.
- Monitor, fine-tune, and audit systems to proactively address reliability and security issues.
- Research technologies and support IT Operations in optimizing policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Technical or bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related field.
- Intermediate or higher English proficiency required.
- Strong Linux administration experience.
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift, Docker, or Kubernetes and proven AWS administration experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise Java applications and application servers such as Apache Tomcat or Oracle Application Server.
- Administrative scripting with Bash or Python and automation experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
