BSN Instructor - Per Diem

What you will do

• Prepare, administer, and grade examinations and final evaluations with other instructors.
• Plan and deliver classroom and clinical instruction using adult-learning principles and online learning activities.
• Supervise student clinical experiences in assigned healthcare facilities and ensure assignments meet student and facility needs.
• Evaluate student performance against clinical learning outcomes and provide immediate feedback after observations.
• Maintain attendance, grades, skills check-off forms, clinical records, and program reports.
• Participate in faculty meetings, committees, student advising, faculty orientation, and instructional quality initiatives.

Requirements

• Active license issued by the State Board of Registered Nursing.
• Master of Nursing or a higher degree from an accredited college or university, including coursework in nursing or education, administration, OB, pediatrics, or psychiatry.
• At least four years of experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
• At least one year of clinical experience within the last five years; clinical teaching may count toward direct patient care.
• Clinical expertise in psychiatric nursing, geriatrics, medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics, OB-Gyn, or mental health.
• Previous teaching experience is not required; faculty development training is provided.
