TL;DR
SAP AI Technical Consultant (SAP BTP): Designing and implementing AI-enabled SAP solutions, integrations, and extensions with an accent on Generative AI, SAP BTP, RAG, embeddings, and vector search. Focus on building production-ready AI capabilities, integrating SAP and external services, and addressing security, scalability, reliability, and responsible AI requirements.

What you will do
- Identify and implement AI use cases across SAP business processes, applications, and enterprise environments.
- Design and develop AI-enabled solutions using SAP Business AI, SAP BTP, SAP AI Core, AI Launchpad, and Generative AI Hub.
- Integrate Generative AI and LLM capabilities into SAP applications using APIs, SDKs, and cloud services.
- Build SAP BTP extensions, side-by-side applications, and integrations with SAP systems, AI services, and external platforms.
- Implement RAG, embeddings, vector search, and knowledge-based AI solutions, including prototypes and proofs of concept.
- Investigate incidents and deliver secure, scalable, reliable, and production-ready AI solutions.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in SAP development, consulting, integration, or technical implementation, with significant SAP BTP and/or SAP Business AI exposure.
- Hands-on SAP BTP experience and knowledge of its core services, architecture, Cloud Foundry, and development environments.
- Practical experience implementing or integrating AI/ML or Generative AI solutions in SAP or enterprise environments.
- Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases or search, and RAG.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript/Node.js, Java, or ABAP, plus REST APIs, OData, JSON, and cloud integration technologies.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP business processes, security, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
Nice to have
- Experience with SAP AI Core, AI Launchpad, Generative AI Hub, SAP Joule, CAP, SAPUI5/Fiori, or RAP.
- Experience with Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, Google Cloud Vertex AI, Python AI/ML frameworks, vector databases, or knowledge graphs.
- Experience with AI agents, agentic workflows, SAP Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh, Git, CI/CD, or DevOps.
- SAP certifications in SAP BTP, SAP Business AI, AI/ML, or SAP development.
