Landscape Designer I

Location: Orlando - Palmetto, Florida, United States; Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with overtime as needed

What you will do

• Prepare plans, details, sections, elevations, planting plans, grading layouts, and basic construction details.
• Translate surveys and civil drawings into base plans using company CAD standards and templates.
• Develop 3D models, illustrative renderings, conceptual graphics, and schematic plans.
• Prepare planting schedules and documentation materials.
• Conduct basic site and zoning research, code studies, and analysis under supervision.
• Coordinate project tasks, track time, meet schedules and budgets, and maintain organized files.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Land F/X, SketchUp, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong hand-drawing, visualization, and graphic presentation skills.
• Familiarity with LEED principles and sustainable site design practices.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work on site in the Orlando–Palmetto, Florida area during standard Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. hours.
