What you will do
- Build and improve registration, authentication, user identity, and account verification journeys.
- Develop secure login and access systems that protect accounts across sportsbook, casino, racing, and daily fantasy products.
- Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs using Java, Python, or similar languages.
- Write secure, stable, testable, maintainable code and resolve root causes of complex technical problems.
- Participate in design, planning, prioritization, code reviews, and operational support.
- Lead projects and mentor more junior engineers across .
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience with distributed, highly scalable, and highly available backend systems and APIs.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, plus containers, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with full-stack applications, single-page applications, or micro frontends.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, observability, testing, and software development best practices.
- Experience with AI tools such as Cursor, Claude AI, or Microsoft Copilot.
Nice to have
- Native mobile development experience on iOS or Android, including Swift, Kotlin, or React Native.
- Experience with experimentation or product analytics tools such as Amplitude.
