Senior Associate 3D Technical Designer (3D)

What you will do

• Create realistic, production-ready 3D models, rendered assets, and digital product visualizations for apparel, footwear, accessories, and hard goods.
• Build, optimize, and manage scalable 3D asset libraries across multiple product categories.
• Convert and prepare 3D assets for web applications, animation, visualization tools, digital commerce, and other digital experiences.
• Coordinate fabric digitization, support garment fit analysis, and apply material, texture, UV, HDRI, and PBR workflows.
• Collaborate with Design, Technical Design, Product Creation, and cross-functional teams to establish standards and improve 3D workflows.
• Explore emerging 3D technologies and help expand digital product creation capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, 3D Design, Apparel Design, Footwear Design, Accessories Design, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in product, industrial, apparel, footwear, accessories, hard goods, or related design disciplines, including at least 2 years of hands-on professional 3D application experience.
• Advanced skills in 3D modeling, sculpting, texturing, rendering, and digital asset development.
• Experience with CLO3D, Style3D, Browzwear VStitcher, Blender, Maya, Rhino, ZBrush, Adobe Substance Suite, KeyShot, Cinema4D, or comparable tools.
• Knowledge of garment construction, pattern analysis, fit evaluation, technical fit sessions, parametric avatars, fabric simulation, file formats, and export methods.
• Strong project management, communication, collaboration, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with footwear, apparel, sports equipment, hard goods, or accessories.
• Knowledge of WebGL, interactive 3D visualization, and web-based product viewing.
• Ability to travel as needed for business initiatives, project activities, and stakeholder collaboration.
