Location: Norwalk, Connecticut, United States; onsite work required. The role operates in a 24/7/365 environment and may require extended onsite hours during emergencies.

What you will do
- Complete assigned operations and maintenance activities for data center and other assigned facility spaces.
- Use and train others on the computerized maintenance management system to track work orders, labor hours, preventive maintenance, and reactive work.
- Apply SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, and MMRs to support safe and reliable site operations.
- Coordinate contractors and vendors during maintenance and project work.
- Respond to building system alarms, protect the critical load, minimize equipment damage, and participate in root cause analysis.
- Perform critical switching, lockout/tagout, safe-work-area setup, and workmanship inspections while following company, client, government, and EHS requirements.
Requirements
- Journeyman-level skills in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC/R disciplines, gained through an associate degree, technical training, or facility maintenance experience.
- 7–10 years of experience in Tier 2, Tier 3, or Tier 4 data centers, operations and maintenance, or building engineering.
- Knowledge of work order control procedures and computerized maintenance management systems.
- Experience managing subcontractor and vendor contracts, key performance indicators, capacity planning, and reporting.
- Ability to use hand tools, test equipment, personal computers, Microsoft Word, and Excel; strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work onsite 24/7/365 and adjust hours for emergency situations, including extended hours during events such as hurricanes.
