Production Engineer (AI-Powered Autonomous Systems) (Python/Embedded): Designing and scaling automated test solutions, fixtures, and verification procedures for AI-powered autonomous drone platforms with an accent on embedded software, PCB testing, and production reliability. Location: Zurich, Switzerland; the role includes in-person OEM visits and small-scale engineering runs.

What you will do
- Design and build automated production test solutions, including 3D-printed equipment, CNC-milled jigs, and needle-bed adapters.
- Plan and execute product verification, including test cases, analysis, documentation, and repair guidance.
- Develop Python software and STM32 firmware for embedded product self-tests and fixture-based testing.
- Support validation of avionics PCBs and modular systems with software and electronics engineering teams.
- Specify manufacturer tests, improve test coverage, reduce testing time, and support OEM product integrations.
- Validate test procedures with real hardware and manage product workflow tracking across locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience programming and testing software on real hardware.
- Proficiency in modern Python, C, and C++ applied to embedded systems.
- Experience with CAD, such as Onshape, and required soldering skills.
- Practical experience with Linux, microcontrollers, 3D printing, and prototyping tools.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills required.
