Forward Deployed Engineer (AI/MLOps)

What you will do

• Build and deploy production-grade AI solutions for life sciences customers, including inference workflows, cloud and data integrations, and interactive applications.
• Deliver solutions across the full MLOps lifecycle, from development and deployment to monitoring.
• Advise data science teams and technical and business stakeholders on platform best practices and solution design.
• Lead customer engagements, manage prioritized delivery backlogs, and translate requirements into buildable and tested systems.
• Create reusable playbooks, integration templates, and deployment guides for the engineering practice.
• Route platform feedback and field intelligence to SRE, Support, and Product teams.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background with deep proficiency in Python and familiarity with SQL, R, and Bash.
• Experience with Kubernetes, managed Kubernetes services such as EKS, AKS, or GKE, Docker, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Ability to troubleshoot networking, compute, and platform issues.
• Experience delivering machine learning workflows, model deployment and monitoring, GPU workloads, and generative AI or agent frameworks.
• Experience working in or consulting for highly regulated environments with strict compliance, data security, and infrastructure constraints.
• Strong communication, technical discovery, solutioning, customer empathy, and independent execution skills.
