Location: Remote in Poland or Hungary; hybrid in Sofia, Bulgaria

What you will do
- Implement and maintain game server logic based on product and mathematical design requirements.
- Build resilient Java backend services and REST APIs.
- Ensure correct game rounds, bonus flows, and server-side state transitions.
- Perform development verification, code reviews, and improve test coverage.
- Fix bugs, optimize performance, and support production stability.
- Collaborate with client, product, QA, and platform teams throughout the Agile development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 3+ years of backend development experience with Java.
- Strong knowledge of Java Core, OOP, collections, and multithreading basics.
- Experience building and supporting REST APIs.
- Good understanding of SQL and transactional data handling.
- Familiarity with Git/GitLab, Maven, and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in iGaming, casino games, fintech, or other high-reliability domains.
- Knowledge of algorithms, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with high-load backend services and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with observability and logging tools.
- Basic knowledge of TypeScript.
