Data Scientist (ML/NLP)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; hybrid work

Salary: €3,500–€6,800 gross per month, with flexibility based on skills and competencies.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain entity resolution techniques for matching records across sources with inconsistent identifiers.
• Prototype, build, and evaluate LLM- and ML-based extraction and inference models for converting unstructured data into structured outputs.
• Automate scraping logic and source queue generation to scale source acquisition and ingestion workflows.
• Build, iterate on, and monitor applied ML models to detect data and concept drift.
• Enrich datasets with product-ready calculated fields and derived metrics.
• Build automated and ad-hoc QA validation processes for model accuracy, reliability, and consistency.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or Data Engineer.
• Strong background in data modeling, machine learning, and NLP.
• Excellent Python programming skills, proficiency in SQL, and hands-on Spark experience.
• Strong analytical and structural thinking, clear communication, collaboration, self-direction, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with Dagster, dbt, Superset, or Trino.
• Experience working closely with data engineers.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of how insights create value and revenue.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
