Business Analyst II (Power BI/SQL)

What you will do

• Partner with business stakeholders to design moderately complex reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions across multiple systems.
• Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, root causes, and business influences.
• Build and optimize SQL queries, data transformations, datasets, BI models, and visualizations using cloud data warehouse and transformation tools.
• Translate business needs into recommendations and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Maintain data quality and governance, troubleshoot issues, and implement process improvements.
• Work independently with limited supervision while applying SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or 4+ years of relevant experience with increasing responsibility in lieu of a degree.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL queries, Python, dashboards, and data models.
• Experience creating and modifying data transformations and translating business needs into actionable insights.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, and communication skills.
• Ability to present complex data clearly to non-technical audiences.
