Product Designer (UI/UX Designer)

Location: Tokyo Shibuya HQ; candidates must live, plan to live, or relocate within commuting distance of the Tokyo office. Office attendance is recommended, with the remote-to-office ratio varying by department.

Remuneration examples: 5.4M–7.2M JPY for 3 years of UI/UX design experience, or 6.2M–8.6M JPY for 5–6 years of B2B SaaS product design experience.

What you will do

• Develop visually appealing, user-centered designs based on requirements and research findings.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers on new features and product enhancements.
• Use and refine the established design system to maintain consistent interfaces.
• Improve user experience through iterative design and feedback analysis.
• Create and maintain design documentation, including style guides, design principles, and user personas.
• Work with customer support to analyze user feedback and identify product improvements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of UI/UX design experience, focused on product design.
• Proficiency in Figma for design collaboration and prototyping.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Japanese, with Japanese at JLPT N2 level or above.
• Willingness to learn product design methods and conduct user interviews.
• Ability to work within commuting distance of the Tokyo office.

Nice to have

• Experience in the security industry or B2B projects.
• Experience working with design systems.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
• Experience with user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.

Hiring process
