What you will do

  • Support the editorial process for academic healthcare research journals.
  • Organize peer review for submitted manuscripts and coordinate editorial decisions.
  • Manage email communication among authors, reviewers, editors, and other publishing participants.
  • Collaborate with editorial and production teams.
  • Edit and process scholarly articles accurately and consistently under tight deadlines.
  • Attend conferences, scholar visits, and marketing events as the career trajectory develops.

Requirements

  • PhD preferred or Master's degree in a healthcare-related field, including Nursing, Clinical Medicine, Public Health, Health Policy, Psychology, Epidemiology, Nutrition, Pharmacology, Bioengineering, or Biomedicine.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, time management, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Detail-oriented approach with the ability to understand the broader context.
  • Interest in working face-to-face with the scholarly community; previous editorial experience is not required.

Nice to have

  • PhD qualification.
  • Familiarity with the academic editorial process.
