TL;DR
Associate Director / Director - Italian Speaking (M&A): Leading corporate development and M&A transactions across the Eurofins network with an accent on target evaluation, deal structuring, due diligence, negotiation, and transaction closing. Focus on coordinating complex cross-border acquisitions, reviewing financial and legal documentation, and integrating acquired companies through post-closing performance monitoring.
Location: Brussels, Belgium; frequent travel across Europe and occasional travel beyond Europe is required.

What you will do
- Coordinate the M&A pipeline through market analysis, target identification, and initial outreach.
- Review confidentiality agreements, audited accounts, ownership structures, management information, and preliminary business data.
- Evaluate targets, financial performance, risks, valuations, and suitable transaction structures.
- Coordinate due diligence with internal contributors and external legal, audit, and financial advisors.
- Support negotiations and review transaction documents through signing, closing, and financial settlement.
- Monitor post-closing obligations, shareholder documentation, performance tracking, and annual accounts reviews.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering from a top university.
- At least 7 years of experience in corporate development, M&A advisory, investment banking, private equity, or consulting.
- Solid understanding of M&A processes and transaction documents, including NDAs, LOIs, due diligence materials, and SPAs.
- Strong technical understanding of finance and valuations, with excellent analytical, strategic, communication, and team management skills.
- Fluency in Italian and English is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, dynamic, fast-growing, and decentralised environment.
