Senior Software Engineer (Infrastructure)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal. On-site position requiring four days per week in the Lisbon office.

What you will do

• Build reliable, scalable applications and infrastructure management tooling.
• Develop automation for deployment, orchestration, monitoring, and customer-managed environments.
• Create observability tools that help engineers and bank SREs operate and integrate with Vault.
• Contribute to data and event-streaming infrastructure changes.
• Develop disaster recovery, backup, redundancy, and code-quality tooling.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Production experience developing infrastructure management tooling with Python or Golang.
• Familiarity with observability tools, databases, event-streaming platforms, or container orchestration.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and CI/CD systems.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting production systems in high-consistency transactional environments.
