Compliance Analyst (AML)

Location: Astana, Kazakhstan; onsite or remote. The remote arrangement may vary depending on the nature of the business team.

What you will do

• Review internal compliance policies, support compliance assessments and internal audits, and perform ongoing or ad hoc reviews.
• Track compliance requirements for new product and service launches.
• Review and verify customer onboarding applications within established SLAs.
• Conduct risk assessments, periodic and trigger reviews, enhanced due diligence, and monitoring of unusual activity and AML flags.
• Apply compliance tools and programs including Thomson Reuters, World-Check, KYC vendors, and Chainalysis.
• Support two-eye and four-eye customer due diligence processes, training programs, and related compliance administration.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of directly related experience in legal or compliance roles.
• Fluent Kazakh, Russian, and English.
• Undergraduate degree required; a law degree is an advantage.
• Knowledge of relevant rules, regulations, day-to-day compliance operations, and applicable local and AIFC requirements.
• Strong writing, organizational, and communication skills.
