Transport Manager (2 Years Contract)

What you will do

• Govern transport master data, lead-time matrices, order cut-offs, departure schedules, routing rules, and ship-via assignments across the EMENA network.
• Set up and maintain carrier integrations, partner data, delivery instructions, EDI transmission, weight-list rules, and invoicing configurations.
• Configure specialized shipping requirements in QAD and investigate lead-time anomalies, delayed orders, and system or operational failures.
• Oversee outbound freight flows for customer deliveries and inter-site transfers, ensuring compliance with service-level expectations.
• Track OTIF, OTD, and weight-list compliance metrics and act as the regional escalation contact for transport disruptions.
• Collaborate with Customer Experience, manufacturing, warehouse logistics, and carrier partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Systems Engineering.
• At least 5 years of operational transportation management or logistics systems experience in a complex, multi-site European or EMENA environment.
• Hands-on experience with TRAX TMS and QAD ERP transport modules, or equivalent enterprise TMS and ERP systems.
• Experience with carrier EDI integrations, weight-list documentation, invoicing setups, analytical investigations, and root-cause analysis.
• Professional fluency in English.
• Ability to work in Rodange, Luxembourg.

Nice to have

• German, French, Dutch, or Polish language skills.
• Experience with continuous improvement and cross-functional regional operations.
