Operations Tech Analyst (Python/SQL) (Trading Operations/AI): Building and maintaining technology solutions that improve trading operations, automate workflows, and support applications and platforms across the software development lifecycle with an accent on Python, SQL, architecture, testing, and operational controls. Focus on translating complex business problems into scalable technical solutions, designing AI-native capabilities, and developing an end-to-end understanding of the trade lifecycle through rotations across APAC operations teams.

What you will do
- Design, build, test, maintain, and support technology solutions that improve Trading Operations.
- Translate operational problems and business requirements into technical solutions, serving as a bridge between Operations and Technology teams.
- Use Python, SQL, and other technologies to develop applications, automate processes, and improve operational efficiency and controls.
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, scalability, integration, testing, implementation, and support.
- Help design new capabilities where AI is part of the underlying architecture.
- Rotate across Trading Operations teams to develop an end-to-end understanding of the trade lifecycle and identify technology-led improvements.
Requirements
- Typically 3–5+ years of experience in software development, technology-enabled Operations, or a relevant technical environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong programming capability with practical experience in Python, SQL, or other relevant technologies.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, software design principles, databases, testing, architecture, integration, and maintainability.
- Strong problem-solving, numerical, logical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Genuine interest in AI and emerging technologies; financial markets or Trading Operations experience is advantageous.
