Senior Data Science Engineering Manager (AI/ML)

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers.
• Set the team strategy, roadmap, priorities, and success measures for personalization initiatives.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Revenue, and Data Science leaders to connect technical decisions with business outcomes.
• Guide machine learning systems through design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Shape data pipelines, feature generation, experimentation, batch and real-time serving, observability, and model lifecycle management.
• Advance software engineering, DevOps, and MLOps practices while managing capacity and resource allocation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in data science or machine learning engineering, including at least 5 years of formal people leadership or management experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience using modern data platforms and cloud environments.
• Deep knowledge of machine learning systems, statistical modeling, experimentation frameworks, and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with DevOps and MLOps practices, including containerization, automation, testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for influencing cross-functional partners and senior leaders.
