Program Coordinator I (Student Affairs): Coordinating pharmacy student services, academic advising, recruitment, student organizations, and commencement programs in a higher-education setting with an accent on student support, event operations, and cross-campus coordination. Focus on mentoring students, managing organization compliance and events, supporting admissions activities, and coordinating budgets, facilities, and commencement logistics.
Location: College Station, Texas, United States; full-time onsite role. Occasional evenings, weekends, and overnight travel may be required.

What you will do
- Mentor pharmacy students, support student success, and refer students to tutoring, peer mentoring, financial aid, registrar, and other services.
- Provide academic advising for pre-pharmacy and admitted students, including admissions requirements, registration, tuition, insurance, and course equivalencies.
- Supervise student organization officers, deliver annual activity training, review event forms, manage risk mitigation processes, and track organization events.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, prospective-student meetings, campus tours, orientations, admission days, social events, and commencement activities.
- Plan and manage commencement operations, including budgets, purchasing, facilities, ceremony logistics, student orders, and related events.
- Supervise and train program staff and student workers while supporting student services program administration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least two years of related student affairs experience, including academic counseling, records and registrar functions, admissions, financial aid, or a related area.
- Strong oral and written communication, presentation, interpersonal, organizational, multitasking, and active-listening skills.
- Ability to work with diverse student populations, interact professionally with clients and staff, and adapt course content and instructional approaches.
- Working knowledge of office software and instructional programs.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree.
- Three years of broad student affairs experience or four years in a health science center or higher-education setting.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, student information systems such as Banner, and accounting systems such as FAMIS or Canopy.
- Experience developing and delivering recruitment or promotional presentations.
