General Service Technician / Mechanic (Automotive)

Location: Onsite at 2820 Sarah Lane, Waunakee, Wisconsin, United States

Salary: USD 15–25 per hour

What you will do

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, suspension alignments, and other maintenance and repair services.
• Conduct state-mandated vehicle emission and safety inspections.
• Troubleshoot guest vehicle concerns and communicate damage or malfunctions clearly to the service department.
• Complete accurate courtesy vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance reports.
• Follow federal, state, and local requirements, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know rules.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, organization, and housekeeping standards in a high-volume shop.

Requirements

• Entry-level position; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Current driver's license.
• Ability to lift or move more than 75 pounds occasionally and work with tools on elevated vehicles.
• Ability to work in tight spaces, use hand tools, stand or walk for most of the workday, and drive manual-transmission vehicles.
• Ability to maintain a brisk pace, work effectively in a team, and navigate a computer.
