Location: Grand Rapids, MI, United States; travel required up to 30% of the time.

What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop project management team members across customer and solution-specific portfolios.
- Oversee concurrent multi-site modernization and upgrade projects spanning controls, software, mechanical, electrical, installation, system upgrades, and capacity expansion.
- Drive project planning, implementation, testing, acceptance, cutover, and go-live activities.
- Coordinate project management, engineering, manufacturing, installation, procurement, vendors, subcontractors, and integrator partners.
- Own portfolio financial performance, including forecasting, revenue recognition, cost-to-complete, invoicing, cash flow, and profitability.
- Act as the customer interface and escalation point for complex project, financial, technical, and delivery issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience leading projects or a project function, preferably in automation, logistics, manufacturing, lifecycle services, or large customer-dedicated portfolios.
- Experience managing large-scale project portfolios with significant customer-facing revenue responsibility.
- Strong understanding of automation systems, controls architectures, systems integration, and industrial and enterprise software.
- Experience with schedule and change management, safety, permits, installation, material supply chains, contracts, subcontractors, and risk management.
- Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project or equivalent is required.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
