Workplace Lead

Location: Hybrid in New York, NY; open to candidates based near the NYC office or willing to relocate to the United States.

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 per year for U.S. candidates.

What you will do

• Manage daily operations across Runway’s offices, including cleaning, repairs, food, supplies, access control, and health and safety.
• Own workplace budgets and reporting across rent, capital expenditure, and operating spend.
• Run onsite programs such as all-hands meetings, offsites, team events, screenings, and partner or press visits.
• Plan office capacity with People and Finance based on hiring forecasts, and lead site selection and lease negotiations.
• Manage design, construction, furniture, IT, security, network, audiovisual, and physical-access projects through office openings.
• Establish local vendors, services, compliance processes, and workplace standards in new markets.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in corporate real estate, facilities, or workplace operations.
• Deep project management experience across construction schedules, permitting, and short-notice logistics.
• Hands-on experience with leases, vendor contracts, and personally approved budgets.
• Cross-functional experience partnering with Finance, People, IT, and Security.
• Experience taking at least one office from the first site visit through opening day.
• Ability to document processes, service standards, vendor scorecards, and maintain accountability for offices located elsewhere.

• International real estate, employment, or compliance experience.
