Associate Principal, Health Economics, Health Technology Assessment (HE/HTA)

Location: Milan, Italy; candidates must have the right to live and work in Italy

Salary: €74,300–€126,500 annual base pay

What you will do

• Lead and manage multiple strategic health economics and health technology assessment engagements for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients.
• Direct project teams in designing, developing, and delivering client reports, presentations, and other deliverables.
• Act as a senior client contact, provide strategic and scientific advice, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and client satisfaction.
• Develop proposals, identify follow-on opportunities, and contribute to business development and thought leadership.
• Provide subject-matter expertise, intellectual leadership, coaching, and direction to consulting teams and junior colleagues.
• Support the development of intellectual property and capabilities across the HE/HTA practice.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of professional experience in HEOR or HTA within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with evidence of career progression.
• Expertise in health economics, evidence synthesis, HTA strategy, health economic modelling, SLR, ITC, GVD, scientific advice, or JCA.
• At least 2–3 years of project management or leadership experience in strategic consulting engagements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, facilitation, and report-writing skills.
• Master’s degree or equivalent; PhD is not required.
• Fluent English and the right to live and work in Italy are required. Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% is also required.
