Sr IT Security Analyst (Cybersecurity)

hirify.global is hiring for an information security role focused on enterprise applications and infrastructure.

What you will do

• Monitor systems and preserve infrastructure integrity.
• Identify, document, report, and resolve security incidents.
• Develop and document security architecture, designs, and solutions for complex applications.
• Ensure applications and systems align with NIST 800-series requirements and appropriate security guidelines.
• Track emerging threats, vulnerabilities, attacks, and countermeasures, including information from ICS-CERT and similar organizations.
• Partner with project teams, business clients, vendors, and technical support teams to plan, implement, and troubleshoot security solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and five years of related information security experience, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient SailPoint development experience, including workflows, SCIM connectors, API-based integrations, JDBC connectors, and troubleshooting with VSCode or Postman.
• Experience onboarding applications using SailPoint SaaS, JDBC, and SCIM connectors.
• Experience with vulnerability and log management, monitoring, VPNs, virtualization, firewalls, web application security, and intrusion detection or prevention systems.
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Windows, TCP/IP, LDAP, 802.1x, SNMP, DNS/DHCP, encryption protocols, networking hardware, and packet analysis tools such as Wireshark.
• Proficiency in English and the ability to communicate complex technical matters to internal and external stakeholders and senior management.

Nice to have

• Professional security certification such as CISSP, ISSP, SSCP, or GIAC.
• Government experience or security clearance.
• Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or SQL.
• Knowledge of law enforcement practices, evidential chain of custody, and IT security incident procedures.
