Lead Lighting and Shading Artist (Unreal Engine)

hirify.global is hiring for AMP CTRL – ALT – AMP, working on CGI and automotive visualization projects for premium clients.

What you will do

• Lead lighting and shading work on challenging projects for premium clients.
• Provide guidance and support to other lighting artists.
• Ensure high visual and technical quality in created assets.
• Collaborate with the development team to advance CGI pipelines and workflows.
• Work with a team of CG artists on automotive visualization projects.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of production experience, ideally in high-end automotive visualization.
• Proven expertise as a lighting and shading artist using Unreal Engine.
• Experience with PBR material development and complex CGI pipelines optimized for real-time use.
• Strong visual storytelling, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Experience leading and supporting creative teams.
• Fluent spoken and written English required; German is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with Unreal Blueprints, Git, Photoshop, After Effects, Substance, or full-CG environments.
• Background in photography or as a director of photography.
• Automotive experience and knowledge of digital infrastructures, website rollout, maintenance, support, and information security.
