Python Software Engineers (AI)

Location: Mexico — fully remote

Compensation: $45–$80 per hour

What you will do

• Debug and resolve issues across complex, multi-file codebases.
• Implement backend or full-stack functionality in production systems.
• Refactor and migrate existing systems.
• Develop and extend unit and integration test suites.
• Write technical specifications and reference implementations.
• Review code and technical submissions, identify edge cases, and validate requirements, code, tests, and expected outputs.

Requirements

• 2–7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of at least one additional language such as Java, C#, or Go.
• Backend or full-stack experience with production systems and testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.
• Experience with code reviews, refactoring, production migrations, and large multi-file codebases.
• Advanced professional written English, strong attention to detail, and technical problem-solving skills.
