TL;DR
Software Engineer (Vue.js/Python): Building and maintaining a commercial customer portal and billing platform for satellite connectivity services with an accent on RESTful APIs, frontend applications, backend services, and system integrations. Focus on designing features across the software development lifecycle, integrating internal and third-party systems, optimizing performance, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Location: Lomazzo (Como), Italy, with a hybrid policy allowing up to 2 remote working days per week
Salary: €32,000–35,000 gross annual salary

What you will do
- Design, implement, and test features for the commercial customer portal and billing platform.
- Develop RESTful APIs, backend services, business logic, and integrations with commercial and internal systems.
- Build and maintain frontend applications with Vue.js for operational and commercial workflows.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot bugs, improve performance and reliability, and maintain technical documentation.
- Use GitLab for version control and code reviews while maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in software development.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Good knowledge of Python and JavaScript.
- Experience with at least one frontend framework, preferably Vue.js.
- Understanding of API design and integration, plus basic knowledge of Docker and containerized applications.
- Collaborative communication, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud environments such as GCP.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, system integration, and microservices architectures.
- Interest in cloud technologies and modern software development methodologies.
